Crystal Journeys

Crystal Journeys is a meditation program that I developed with the intention of re-sensitize our self to the Energy & Spirit of the Mineral Kingdom. In our society's narrow focus on our Physical World, we have become de-sensitized to the Energy World. The Energy of the Mineral Kingdom is in some ways very subtle and we need to make some effort and some time to connect with this Energy.

Program:

I take one family of Crystal and we meditate with this Crystal once a week for 4 weeks. What I mean by 'family' is the type of Crystal - Smoky quartz is one family, Apophyllite is another family, etc. The 5th week we move to another family of Crystal and we repeat the 4 weeks. I do this until we have meditated with 4 different families of Crystals. The total program takes 16 weeks to go through 4 families or types of Crystals.

Why 4 meditations (4 weeks) with the same family;

I work with the Medicine Wheel and the 4 weeks represents the 4 directions of the Medicine Wheel.

1. The 1st week represents the East and is the direction that represents New Beginnings or New Experiences. The 1st meditation we are experiencing the NEWNESS of connecting with the Energy & Spirit of the Mineral Kingdom.
2. The 2nd week represents the South and is the direction that represents Learning. We move beyond the NEWNESS and start to learn about this Energy.
3. The 3rd week represents the West and is the direction that represents Experience. We actually start to work with this Energy.
4. The 4th week represents the North and is the direction that represents Completion. We complete our work with this family of Crystal.  

This is also why I use 4 different families of Crystals - one for each direction of the Medicine Wheel.

Benefits of the Crystal Journeys:

At the end of the 16 weeks each individual has become sensitized to the Energy & Spirit of the Mineral Kingdom as a whole. Of the 4 Kingdoms - Mineral, Plant, Animal, and Human - the Mineral Kingdom is the farthest removed from us (Human Kingdom) and as such the Energy is much more subtle than the other Kingdoms. When we have become sensitive to the Energy of the Mineral Kingdom, we also become more sensitive to the other 3 Kingdoms - including our own.
