Crystal Healing - Laying-on-of-Stones

The Energy of the Mineral Kingdom (Crystals & Stones) is "Universal Energy" and is available to work with our Energy Body when we are ready to receive. When we go deeper with the Mineral Kingdom we can connect with the Spirit of the Crystals & Stones. It is the Spirit of the Crystals & Stones that are the Teachers and Guides in our HEALING. 

The terms Crystals & Stones are often used interchangeably and maybe a source of confusion. When we are talking in general terms about the Mineral Kingdom either term is used to describe both – Laying-on-of-Stones does not just use Stones but both Crystals and Stones, both compose the Mineral Kingdom. There are significant differences between Crystals and Stones and their usage in Laying-on-of-Stones. 

Crystals:

The use of Crystals in Laying-on-of-Stones is to direct the ENERGY in a particular direction. The Crystal receives ENERGY through the base of the Crystal and projects the ENERGY out through the terminated point of the Crystal.  It is this property of Crystals that allows us to create different patterns or arrays of ENERGY. There are ‘Double Terminated’ Crystals, where the Crystal has a terminated point at both ends of the Crystal. With these Crystals the ENERGY enters the Crystal through the center of the Crystal and directs the ENERGY out through both terminations. With these Crystals we can split the ENERGY into two different directions.

Stones:

The use of Stones in Laying-on-of-Stones is to bring the particular ENERGY of the Stone into the array. The Stones Energy is more chaotic and both receives and projects ENERGY in every direction. When we put the base of a Crystal beside a Stone the Crystal receives the ENERGY of the Stone through the base and projects the Stone’s ENERGY through the point. 

In the above picture the Ametrine sphere in her palm is feeding the Clear Quartz Crystals and is directing the Ametrine energy in a spiral around the hand. This is how both Crystals & Stones work together in Laying-on-of-Stones.

Aura Array (Intuitive)

This is a 'intuitive' array that has the intention of working with our Aura and working with our personal boundaries. It is hard to see in the picture but there are many clear quartz crystals in the array as well as the stones that work with the major chakras. The camera picks up the stones but not the crystals.

The Yod Array (Book)

This array is from Melody's book and I used larger crystals for the camera. In a normal session I would use the smaller crystals, the size of the crystals does not affect the session. The camera picks up the larger crystals easier.

The "Laying-on-of-Stones" Book 

Substantial work in this art has been done by Melody author of LOVE IS IN THE EARTH: A KALEIDOSCOPE OF CRYSTALS  and her 2nd book LOVE IS IN THE EARTH: LAYING-ON-OF-STONES and is the result of over 20 years of working with the Mineral Kingdom. I received my certificate of “Master of Crystology” from Melody in the fall of 2010.

Laying-on-of-Stones

The book 'Laying-on-of-Stones' was first published in 1992 and had its 8th printing in 2003, so it has been around for a long time and is a major resource for people who work with the Mineral Kingdom. The book is full of more than 80 different Arrays or patterns to lay out the Crystals or Stones. Each of the Arrays have been fully explored and all have been found to be effective in their INTENTION. The Arrays are ancient symbolic patterns and the pattern combined with the energy of the Mineral Kingdom are very powerful. The Arrays range from very simple lay-outs to very complicated lay-outs depending on what one wants to experience. Some of the more complicated Arrays can take the whole room to lay-out.

It is the Arrays that set the INTENTION for the session; it is the Crystals & Stones that bring the ENERGY to the session. Together they form a powerful healing environment.

Belief & Disbelief:

Our Belief System is a very powerful part of who we are. Our Beliefs are one method that we use to exercise our FREE-WILL. Do not be fooled, if one Disbelief in something it is itself a form of BELIEF.

It is my opinion that it is best to simply have an ‘Open-Mind’ when working with the Mineral Kingdom. What I mean by an ‘Open-Mind’ is that I have not yet decided if I Believe or not, but open to the POSSIBILITY. 

If our Belief is too strong we often set a high expectation, and if our expectations are not met we are disappointed and we can discount what we have experienced. If we have decided to Disbelief we are too quick to DENY what we experience and may quickly discount what we have experienced. 

An Open-Mind is when we have decided not to exercise our FREE-WILL and are able to accept what we experience for what it is.

Laying-on-of-Stones:

 

The practice of Laying-on-of-Stones requires a large area where the person can lay and the pattern of Stones can be placed. The Stones can be placed on the person’s body and/or around the body. The number of Stones and Crystals is often high – I have about 50 Crystals I use plus that many Stones. I do not use them all in every lay-out, but in order to be prepared for any type of lay-out a good source of Crystals & Stones is a good idea. 

Some of the Arrays are large and can take up a whole room. The right space is required as well as a good supply of Crystals and Stones. If one is using a less number of Stones the size of the Array needs to remain the same, do not decrease the size of the Array to the number of Stones, use less Stones in the Array.
